Understanding Alzheimers and Dementia In-Person

The Alzheimer's Association is partnering with local libraries to provide education and increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. "Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia" is a 60-minute program that discusses the relationship between Alzheimer's and dementia, explains the changes in the brain and the different stages of Alzheimer's disease. It also describes the risk factors for developing dementia, as well as the current treatments and research updates. And most importantly, they will provide information on all the resources available to assist those affected by this disease and their families!

This event is free and open to the public.
